Manual handling is any activity that includes lifting or putting down, pulling or pushing, carrying or supporting or moving an object, person, child or animal, using the hand or any other part of the body.

Don’t assume that manual handling only applies when items are lifted, it could be any movement of an object.

  • Resulting injuries
  • Tips to Prevent Accidents
  • Safe Work Practices

  • Appropriate Handling Aids
  • Risk Assessment
  • How planning reduces risks
  • Practice

The course is suitable for anyone – individuals can book on scheduled dates but we can arrange a special date at our premises or yours for 4 or more candidates.

The syllabus can be adjusted for most lifestyle/work place situations and an up-to-date course handbook is issued to each candidate.

Manual Handling Training Course  (3 Hours) cost: £60.00 per person. (VAT to be applied at current rate)

We also have special group rates on application. Most scheduled courses commence at 9 a.m, full details of course timings is provided with the booking confirmation.
